Mogadishu, (InsideSomalia.org) Somali Prime Minister Nur Hassan Hussein said on Monday that he is ready to talk insurgents fighting in Mogadishu to end violence in the Somali capital.
"Nobody is let off from the dialogue" he said speaking to AFP before his departure from Nairobi to Mogadishu.
Somali premier has requested support from elders, Somali intellectual, youth and women for their contribution to contain peace and security in Mogadishu.
Earlier Somali Prime Minister vowed that his government wants a plan to have dialogue with the opposition of his government including insurgents fighting allied Somali government and Ethiopian troops in the capital.
Somali premier arrived here in Mogadishu on Monday where he had so far started talks with the Somali President Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed who himself arrived in the capital last week.
Leader of Union of Islamic Courts Sheikh Sharif sheikh Ahmed speaking from Cairo this week ruled out talks with the Somali government until Ethiopian troops withdrawn from Somalia.
Union of Islamic Courts were ousted Mogadishu and parts of southern Somalia on December 2006 and insurgents regrouped and started a guerilla style tactics of fighting in the capital including day by day confrontations against Somali government and Ethiopian troops.
